• The Pioneer Fund is a restricted fund to benefit Carroll's intercollegiate athletics program. It exists to provide funds for 20 varsity sports.
• Carroll College believes that athletic opportunities are an important part of the total, balanced education our students receive. In fact, a strong athletics program is an integral component of The Carroll Experience.
• Carroll College's athletics and recreational programs and facilities are a resource for the entire community with benefits to many community partners. Local schools, reams and citizens participate in Carroll College-sponsored camps and programs.

With continued donor investment, Carroll will have the resources necessary to prepare students academically and physically to meet the challenges of the world beyond campus.
